Who we are

The Interfaith Moral Amendment (TIMA) is a global coalition of individuals, communities, and organizations committed to one fundamental principle: the protection and preservation of childhood innocence. We are parents, faith leaders, educators, advocates, and concerned citizens from diverse spiritual traditions and cultural backgrounds. While our beliefs and practices may differ, we are united by a common conscience and a moral duty to safeguard the most vulnerable among us—our children.

We believe that the way humanity protects its children is not only a reflection of its moral character but also a determining factor in its evolution. A species that fails to safeguard its most innocent and defenseless members cannot claim to be truly advanced. As human civilization expands its knowledge, influence, and reach beyond Earth, we recognize that our moral responsibilities must evolve alongside our scientific and technological progress. The measure of a just and enlightened society—whether on this planet or beyond—will always be found in how it treats its children. If we are to take our place among the great civilizations of the cosmos, we must first prove ourselves worthy by ensuring the dignity and protection of every child.

What sets TIMA apart is our unwavering commitment to both spiritual and practical child protection, recognizing that safeguarding the innocent is not just a cultural or religious duty, but a universal responsibility essential for the progression of humanity itself. We do not merely seek reform within isolated institutions; we call for a transformation of moral consciousness, ensuring that humanity’s collective evolution is guided by the principle that children’s dignity is sacred and non-negotiable.

Unlike many movements that focus solely on legal or institutional reforms, TIMA takes a higher, future-focused stance: a civilization that refuses to protect its children is a civilization that is not prepared for higher existence. The ethical integrity of our species will be the defining factor of whether humanity remains confined to Earth or earns the right to stand among greater cosmic societies. By defending the most vulnerable among us, we do not just safeguard our present—we shape the moral destiny of the human race, both here and beyond the stars.

What makes us different?

Direct Confrontation of Harmful Religious Doctrines:

While many organizations operate within religious frameworks, TIMA stands apart by directly challenging and rejecting any doctrine that permits harm to children. Throughout history, faith traditions have been used to justify exploitation, child marriage, enslavement, and violence, and we hold that no belief system can claim moral legitimacy while enabling such atrocities. TIMA does not merely call for reflection; it demands active reform within religious institutions, ensuring that faith evolves in alignment with the protection, dignity, and future of children.

Equal Emphasis on Religious, Governmental, and Cosmic Accountability:

Most organizations focus only on legal reform, but TIMA recognizes that laws alone are insufficient if religious doctrines, cultural traditions, and ideological systems still permit the abuse and exploitation of children. TIMA bridges the gap between faith, law, and moral progress, ensuring that all institutions—spiritual and secular—are held accountable. Moreover, TIMA asserts that humanity’s place in the cosmos is tied to its moral integrity. A civilization that refuses to protect its most innocent members is not prepared to take its place among greater societies beyond Earth.

A Safe Haven for Reform-Minded Believers & Ethical Thinkers:

Many individuals within faith traditions recognize harmful teachings but fear retribution, exile, or moral conflict in speaking out. TIMA provides a safe and unwavering platform for those who seek to protect children without abandoning their faith or ethical convictions. We affirm that true spiritual and moral progress demands the rejection of harmful traditions, and we stand with those who challenge injustice from within.

Female-Led, Interfaith, and Secularly Inclusive—A Unified Moral Force:

Most interfaith groups seek to harmonize beliefs, but TIMA’s mission is bolder—we do not seek agreement for the sake of unity; we challenge any belief that allows harm to children. TIMA welcomes individuals of faith and secular conviction, recognizing that the protection of children transcends all ideological, cultural, and religious divides.

A Living, Evolving Moral Mandate—For Humanity’s Future on Earth & Beyond:

TIMA rejects static traditions that perpetuate harm, affirming instead that society, law, and faith must evolve as human understanding grows. As we advance in technology, science, and consciousness, our moral responsibilities must evolve in parallel. The future of the human race depends not on technological prowess alone, but on how we protect our most vulnerable. A civilization that cannot uphold the dignity of its children has no moral standing to advance beyond its planetary home. True evolution—spiritual, intellectual, and societal—begins with the unwavering protection of innocence.

The 14 points of Protection

A Core Doctrine of the Interfaith Moral Amendment (TIMA)

The Interfaith Moral Amendment recognizes that every child, by virtue of their humanity, is entitled to unconditional protection. These protections are not bound by the borders of nations, the doctrines of faith, or the customs of culture. They are owed from birth until adulthood, without exception, without compromise.

The 14-pointed star of the TIMA sigil stands as our perpetual reminder: each ray a vow, each point a promise.

The Fourteen Protections

  8. Freedom from Religious Coercion – No child shall be forced into a belief system, ritual, or faith practice without their informed consent as an adult.

  9. Freedom from Discrimination – No child shall be denied dignity, opportunity, or safety based on race, gender, faith, or origin.

  10. Right to Play and Creative Expression – Every child shall have the freedom to explore joy, imagination, and creativity without fear.

  11. Right to Family and Belonging – Every child shall have the right to love, care, and connection within a safe family or community.

  12. Right to Shelter and Basic Needs – Every child shall have secure housing, nourishment, clothing, and clean water.

  14. Right to Grow into Adulthood Unharmed – Every child shall be protected until they reach the age of full legal and social maturity.
